Nothing more than I had expected that the Alteras, Xilinxs (and in
a different way the LSIs) of the world would be showing increasing
demand by now. As you know the beauty about the semiconductor
industry is that virtually overnight you can go from being in
overcapacity to being desperately short of capacity. LSI came close
a few months ago... but then the bottom fell off in late June, July
and the first half of August.

But assuming Sept was no fleeting one shot mirage there is some
hope that LSI's newer chips means there is that "sudden rush of
demand" <g>
