Just got back from long trip, but I can answer you now ...

No way DISK will be exclusive distributor for Titanic DVD, and if they are, you will see this stock go from $4 to $40 in one day when it is announced :)

The signs are getting very clear that DVD is going to really ramp up this xmas. Here is my mental list:

1) Blockbuster rolling out rental of DVDs and even players at 500 stores in Sept.
2) Circuit City considering withdrawing DIVX!?
3) All major studios now on board for DVD
4) DVD-RAM will be sold by Creative for $500 and 5-pack media for $150. That is a 5.2 GB drive and you are getting media for $30 ... and this is before the big volume increases that will let that media drop a magnitude in price. Digital VCR replacement, here we come.

DISK has some exclusive DVD but also owns niches like DTS. I think DTS is very viable niche among DVD owners. LSI just announced chipset to do both DTS and Digital Dolby. A survey shows a number of DVD players with DTS-capable DVD read.

DISK is a great speculative stock, esp. at $4 and under ... huge upside with limited downside given DVDs obvious ramp up in next few years.
