Like many companies that deal with foriegn currency, they hedge by buying or selling foreign currency contracts to stabilize fluctuations against the dollar. Now if we were smart we would all start buying rice futures contracts as a hedge against DGIV failing when all the little holes in the phone recievers get full of rice in the third world countrys. Note to Byron : I believe Russia is actually considered a third world country though Germany is definitely not. However I don't believe they eat much rice there or in Egypt for that matter. Of course there are parts of the U.S. some might consider third world also. But no matter how you look at it we are getting closer all the time to a huge world wide phone company.
