Hi Tom,yes there has been some discussion but I don't recall what the the average price the Chinese are willing to pay but I do know one thing that they are PC crazy and the PC is on top of their list right after a TV.

As for disposable income and all that I don't have the numbers at the moment but if I see something on it I will make sure I post it here.

In Dell's case their primary focus will be multinational corporations based in China and then Chinese institutions and businesses.So Dell's fate is not necessarily tied into what the average Chinese is willing to pay for a PC,perhaps down the line but not at the moment.I think we'll leave that to Legend,Acer and companies like that for right now.
