Kasha, ROFL! Been lurking here for a few days, promised myself I would post when I actually laughed out loud while reading. This guy is not really a moron (despite the delusional logic of this example) but certainly fits the bill as an occasionally mean-spirited jerk with an incredibly myopic view of the computer industry. Careful though, he posts a lot every day. My completely unfounded suspicion is that he's "retired" from Intel with a lot of options and opinions. Message 5728277 Dirk P.S. He'll probably track me down and flame me for including him here, but a promise is a promise (even to myself). He once got into a flame war on one of the threads here and pissed someone off so much they flame-spammed his email account with just the word idiot. He SUED the guy AND HIS EMPLOYER, and they settled out of court for what seems to be a simple post to that thread apologizing and saying that flame-spamming is wrong. It seemed purely an ego thing.
