Thanks for the added detail on H&S.

On a subjective basis - holding the market flat is using up cash. The longer they have to input cash into the market without any significant positive movement, the more impatient they will get. Such could lead to more psychological negatives which could lead to a stronger sell off. Hope I made some sense.

Indeed. Observing $TICKI (9/15 5min), there have been five occurances at/above 22. Each spike has been short in duration, reversing quickly. Similar events are often regarded as potential buy programs, and (if so) this would support your assertion. Oops, looks like we're sneaking up on 8000.

Also, looks like MGonzo will get his opportunity to short LatAm ADRs. The hit list is on fire today.
