No, not really. But I can never gauge the market until I see the trend develop. I'm not good at catching turns in the market. What I do is wait until it's clear to me that the market has turned and then I load up to make up for not catching the bottom or top. Works well for me. For example I didn't see the market turn July 20th or whenever the top was, but as soon as I figured out we were in trouble I stepped up the shorts heavily. AMZN was my largest until I closed it out. Actually I closed it out and then re-opened a couple times, and went long twice in between. If I was real bullish on the market I wouldn't write covered calls. I think we are range bound with a downward bias.
