KCBS news, business, at 12:25 Pacific time just had a blurb about Craig Barrett saying that Intel would "do whatever it takes" (my interpretation) to advance Intel's business/influence (mine again) in the network (I think network as it applies to home computers) area. He refused to comment on any buyout of 3COM. KCBS treated this as blockbuster news. 3COM is up over $3 a share on 12 million plus shares traded. Tony
