I fully believe that you are agianst slavery or any form injustice. You come across a s avery moral person, and I have no reason to doubt that.

However, you admit that the bible discusses regulation of slavery. that much is a fact. I think we agree that it is a sin and a source of sorrow for God and humanity. given that sorrow, why would regulation of slavery(a statement that is specific to a particular time and not eternity) be in the bible? Also, why wouldnt god prohibit slavery? He has prohibited far lesser sins?

Don, hthese are just common sense questions that Chirisitians who believe that the bible is the literal word of God should be prepared to answer for those of us who think that that it isnt.
