I damn near wrote naked puts today, but backed off after studying the chart a little more. I may get a better opportunity. Hope not, because I'm still holding my long shares.

All the three major competitors in the GaAs chipsets business: VTSS, TQNT, and ANAD. GaAs chipsets are weak today without specific reasons except the TLAB/CIEN earning warning. However, no matter who wins, a thinly traded company -- American Xtal Tech (AXTI) in Silicon Valley should benefit from the competitions thanks to its patented technology in GaAs and Germanium wafer production for all electronic and opto-electronic applications.

At price about 8 and fractions with a PEG of 0.3, it will probably not be too long before AXTI becomes well known by the Wall Street.
