The founding fathers were talking about things like waging illegal wars, using the IRS to investigate your enemies, assasinating foreign heads of state; taking money under the table

Please reread what I wrote: The constitutional framers clearly considered conduct that demeaned the office to be impeachable...this has certainly demeaned the office...so has lying under oath. If congress wants to impeach, they are within constitutional guidelines to do so.

Hillary disagrees with you on the ground for impeachment. At least she did 20 years ago. Haven't heard anyone work up the gumption to ask her if she disavows these opinions today.
