Not true...the ones with good financials and decent concepts usually come back...

some examples are RYAN, OSSI, EAT, DRI...

just to name a few...

I think LDRY & RAIN both stand decent chances to recover over the next year or so.

I agree with your comment on fad food places. There is a rib joint in the Mpls area called 'Famous Dave's'. It has franchised, gone public and spread stores all over Minnesota. The stock has rocketed from the low 20's to the high 6's (as in 6.66). RAIN is even more kitchy and trendy than Famous Dave's. Even though RAIN went national rather than spreading locally it competes directly with the 'next new thing' where ever it's located. Unless you know something specifically I wouldn't bank on RAIN popping up on its own.

I hear tell there's a guy in NY, named Kramer, developing a restaurant concept where you make your own pizza pie. Kiddy yup...
