Day Traders On-line Offers All First Time Visitors Two Week Free Trial of Stock Picking Services

BusinessWire, Monday, September 14, 1998 at 11:09

MONTEREY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 14, 1998--Day Traders
On-line (http://www.daytraders.com), one of the largest trading sites
on the web, is currently providing all first time visitors with a two
week free trial of their stock selection and daytrading services.
Senior market editor, Ray Johns, who is also the director of the
website, stated Monday, "More and more the stock market is becoming a
'stock pickers' market. Gone are the days of just buying any odd tech
stock and seeing returns roll in on your portfolio. In the current
market, one best described as a bearish market trying to regain its
bullish momentum, we've found trading individual stocks to be an
excellent method of producing profits while avoiding the overall
downward trend we have seen recently. While it's true that daytrading
has risks associated with it, it also has the added benefit of often
being in cash and avoiding sudden market sell offs."
Day Traders On-line provides a number of stock related services,
both free and subscription based via their website at
daytraders.com, including free delayed quotes and news
headlines through a partnership with Quote.com. This is in addition to
their popular morning newsletter which is distributed each morning
before the open to over 8000 members via e-mail. The site also
maintains a real time Trading Desk for professional traders seeking
fractional gains on intraday moves. The service routinely follows such
popular stocks as: <snip>
