I don't know, I kinda like Maria. She's uncharacteristically ( for CNBC ) all the time serious, straight to the point, no nonsense. So she does give off a bit of a " superior " personna, so what. And it just may be her way....it's when the producers want her or the rest to come on like Ed Sullivan introducing the next lion tamer, juggler or balloon contortionist, that's when they do a disservice to us all.

And that intro and exit music......garck!!!
