Rick...This may not be IDX as the O'Hare project (as I understand it) is strictly cargo. If these "readers" turn out to be biometric and not bar code gizmos, we might be seeing an expansion of airline security that could certainly be IDX related. Veddy in-tuh-restink! Jean

I'm pretty sure they're talking about the Boarding-pass readers. They read a bar-code or magnetic strip so there's no manual counting of how many souls are on board.
