Will people quit assuming that everyone remembers the events of Watergate personally? Most people here were too young to remember Watergate as an adult anyway. And dont you think you would view events differently today vs. something you saw when you were 19 or so? Not saying you wouldnt still see the crimes for what they were but the interpretation would have to be at least a little different.

If Clinton had testified to having made a pass at Paula Jones in that hotel room, it was tried and dismissed by the jury....

THEN the Lewinsky affair became public, not through Starr, but lets say a reporter discovers the stolen diary or something.. all the stuff we know now, he denies it all until its so obvious he has to admit it....

in other words, the same events but without his under oath testimony that it didn't happen.

In this hypothetical series would you want impeachment, call him a crook, want him to leave office?
