Here is an original (I think) idea..why not put some on board flash memory for "x" number of pictures...then use a PCMCIA modem to hook into one of the many wireless systems, and send the pix to your home computer or intranet storage. Empty the flash as you shoot, and then never run out of storage.........The little disc drive is cheaper than flash now, but remember the 256 meg flash coming down the pike that can expand into 640 meg. and that $90 1-megs are now almost free.
