Michael what you say is a possibility. But at this time it is an unproven conjecture. Look at many companies that had very bad days and still went down from there (SOC, CD, MOT, even TDFX after last quarter). The high volume sell off does not assure that "These new owners bought this stock, knowing full well that the next earning report will not be positive, and that there's not necessarily a quick buck to be made". For all I know there are a lot of traders out there who day traded it and a few who decided they will take a 5%~10% gain in 2 days. How can you be sure that these are the "long term" investors that you are looking for? You can only tell this after observing the stock behaviour in the next couple of months.

Best of Luck

Insider holdings:

I got this off the yahoo board so perhaps someone can verify it:

as of 6/29/98 Phillip Carmack owns 11,129 shares
5/12/98 Ballard 42,500
6/4/98 Janet Leising 32,000
5/28/98 Gordon Campbell 596,506

These are incridibly low amount of holdings, especially for Ballard and Leising. What is going on here? I thought that insider holdings were closer to 40% (i.e 7 Million shares) what gives?
