Wally: I would be astonished at this point if this fellow could raise the kind of maney he has in the past. It's one thing to raise money
when there's a lot of promise and no track record. Quite another when
there's limited promise and an exceptionally poor track record. Even the Provigil situation has me mystified. Most times, an approvable letter is followed by approval some 6 months or so afterward. In this case, we are told the FDA has a goal of the end of 1998, over a year after the approvable letter even if the goal is met. What could possibly be the hold up?

With its history, I doubt very much this company will survive as an independent company and it wouldn't surprise me if a takeover is in its early stages. Considering its track record, the sooner a takeover occurs the better for its employees, stockholders and the potential users of its products.
