Radim, size does not have to be consistent with price change whether it be up or down. There was a study done "way back when" and they followed a 100 share certificate when the stock went from a price of 10 or so to 50 or 60 or thereabouts and followed it when the price reverted to the approximate starting point.

Interestingly the certificate 'changed hands' over 30 times on the way up and less that a handful of times on the way down. Why? I'm only guessing, but IMHO the average person can't stand prosperity and adheres to the adage a 'bird in hand..." Conversely, on the way down we find it difficult to admit we made a mistake.

We sell our winners and hold onto our losers. And I am as guilty of it as the next person.

Best, Joe
