>>>Tom - I'm not sure I get your metaphor about "communion" and "stinking up the place." Well it's not the place to talk, now is it?....most know what happened. ....Citi really stunk MSFDC up. In other words, if you take the top banks...only Bank of Boston & Citi don't deal with CKFR for Bill Pay...now why do you think that is? IT has a lot to do with the other Banks, not wanting Citi to have access to their customer information, IMO? Here's the answers...NO Here are the questions...would you let your competitor do your books? Would you allow your competitor to bill your customer? Would you allow your competitor to resolve billing disputes. On and on and on....really. ...IMO Citi had a doomed service, bill pay, which they could not outsource to competitors....nobody wanted to use it! Now combine that with MSFDC where bills are stored @ MSFDC and some Billers don't like that...aka A&TT who want control over their customers' accounts....Citi would have been better off to just outright sell it then partner with MSFDC unless you are a holder of CKFR stock. See Citi couldn't get any other Banks as customers on their own, neither could MSFDC...Like two gays now in a Biker Bar, they are.... ala The Banks did not want Citi to have access to their customer that was proven....and Banks were leary of MSFT entering the market.....but I will give them this, they could pound a nail in a board without a hammer....because their heads are made of bricks. Stupid!! Stupid!! Stupid!! But they do have a lot of Money....and might think they can buy into this market...but trust is the issue...and they are just pissing up a rope on this...IMO. It's like 2 guys showing up at your door to sell you something at your home..... Knock, Knock....you get out of your chair...walk to the door...open it and here's to slick sharp dressed Dudes with 3 piece pin striped suits standing at the door...with big ass buggers hanging out their nose. Get the picture?
