Agree with some, disagree with others. Too late at night to argue it all. I was not the biggest Reagan fan, so don't try to pull that on me. I personally believe, as a fiscal Republican, that he is given credit for tax cutting that never really happened...when you read the fine lines. Nafta...as a border state, I'm beginning to have my doubts about its value...I like to think I'm for total free trade...let the chips ( good pun here!) fall where they may...but I see alot of people on both sides of the border hurting due to NAFTA. Mebbe it just need some adjusting... Stand up to China....well, a little. And with alot of PUSH. And for how long?? Look at China now. What about Japan...a much bigger problem? Where is BC...in his study with an intern. Or biting his lower lip and trying to look pitiful. Impotence of President ( another good pun available here...I ain't touching it!)...the American president gets weaker every year...the media is much responsible for that. And the next will most likely be weaker still. The judicial over-ride of the veto made it worse. Economy: Capitalists and Greenspan dictate that...with effects coming from around the world..every president today..R or D is merely a by-stander. Can't remember what else you wanted to argue about...or if its worth it. Nite, nite.
