and.... these parallels (strong position in the industry, outstanding reputation for customer service and technology innovation) may some day lead to a tighter coupling of the two businesses. Granted, after this news, HIE does have a stronger position in the industry. I also like this sentence: "The goal is to offer seamless support for the significant integration needs felt by today's complex healthcare organization." If anyone can meet this goal, HBOC/HIE can!
