If the absurd arguments advanced by some Republicans that the President should be forced to pay the amount Starr expended since he got whiff of Lewinsky, were to be enacted into law, this would be the result. Immediate appeal, without any lower federal court review or decision. Result. Overturned. A Bill of Attainder. Unconstitutional. Without any question of a doubt. Clear as a bright day in New Mexico. It's so outrageous, it's rarely been attempted or tested since our nation's founding. Don't know what a bill of Attainder is? Look it up. As perhaps Alaska's estimable Republican should have done beforehand. And ridicule that asshole Republican from Alaska. This independent is getting more and more turned off by Repulicans by the moment. Doug
