If KNI is incorporated into the 3d rendering package that I use (lightwave) then I will buy an Intel chip for the first time since a 486. Same for 3d-now.. I would love to see some serious support for serious floating point operations at a reasonable price (or even a justifiable price). 50% mroe performance of 2x the price just doesn't cut it. 4x the performance for 2x the price, now you are talking.

KNI looks promising, but only time will tell.

Why am I posting this, well so that you folks can finally realize that good 3D instructions are useful for more than just Quake II (which I don't really like anyway ;-) )
