George, I have nothing against it, it is just that the incredible groaning and moaning whenever Brenda C. got her name on one of these was a little overdone.

Kerry, why was he pinch-hitting insterad of playing the whole game? Doesnt he want the opportunity to hit as many homers as possible? If he was paranoid a la Intel, he'd be playing every at bat possible. Its not like he will benefit from conserving energy now at the very end of the season. On th eother hand, some BATTERS would be happy with even one hOMEr.

IMPORTANT MESSAGE:

It looks like Ed Schultz might be wrong. ANCR may not go to zero after all. <g>

Mark McGuire hits HR #63 pinch-hitting in the bottom of the 9th inning of the 1st game of a double header...

LOL Kerry...ever since the semi-cryptic sports/ANCR-related thread (relating "the NBA Bulls" to the "Bull OEM" etc.) from a couple of years ago, I always have a heck of a time telling whether posts like these have anything to do with ANCR.

I'm guessing here that this post is simply about Mark McGuire...you never know for sure though...
