Perhaps we should institutionalize the Morality Police. Perhaps we should put Bill, Jim Bakker, and Jimmy Swaggart in charge, on the theory that it takes one to know one.

Tacky, I agree absolutely.

I have nothing against tofu as food, though it is frequently prepared very badly. It needs some spices to liven it up a bit, and definitely must be blanched first before serious cooking. I know some vegetarians who have elevated it to the status of religion, though, which I think is a mistake.

I don't think we'll be subjecting Presidential candidates to a monogamy litmus test. It's none of our business. But Clinton crossed the line by having sex with a subordinate during the course of performing official duties, then he compounded it by lying about it under oath.

I agree with the White House that the videotape of Clinton's grand jury testimony should not be released.
