up by 11% on a day when the nasdaq is up only by 18 points. keep you fingers crossed and hope that it gets up and stays above 5 in the very near future.

trader, while i agree with you on this, unless the buyer is willing to cough up $3 billion in the next year or so, i do not think a buyout would be in the best interest of ifmx stockholders.

analysts are such short-sighted animals (to a degree that is their job). tech cycles ebb and flow. the db market over the last year or more has ebbed. it will 'flow' again. there just is to much info in the world that is still unmanaged or poorly managed. if ifmx management even comes close to financially managing the business, which i believe they will, profitability will continue to expand. if they can convincingly grow revenues, then lookout. . . the stock will move up aggressively.

btw, looks like the money managers are moving in today. 2 million shares before 1pm. let's hope greenspan doesn't spoil the party.
