I am relieved that you are a mere mortal and not a god.
However, I have to tell you that your response leaves you open to some serious criticism. Your veracity has not been tested in a scurilous federal grand jury investigation.

That is highly flawed logic. That's like saying I should consider a rattlesnake a pet until I have been bitten by one and have experienced the effects of the venom firsthand.

How many who preside over the highest court in the land (whom we entrust with preserving the fundamental rights we enjoy as citizens of the US) have been questioned under oath about their sex lives?

Mr. Clinton was questioned because his behavior invited the questions - even demanded them. I, for one, plan to steer clear of such personal activities.

A second thought. I hear a lot of people conveniently quoting such phrases as "Judge not, lest ye yourselves be judged" and the like. That seems to be in essence what you are saying too.

This teaching from the Christian faith is not intended to require individuals to accept any and all behaviors nor is it intended to require that legal proceedings be suspended because some in the crowd are not squeaky clean. This is an admonition that judgement (and one really needs to explore carefully just what this term means - it could be that it is more indicative of vengeance rather than the mental exercise of ascertaining one's role in a crime) is not to be made without the realization that the judge himself may be called to the same questions. Ie., the teaching is not "Do not judge. Period." It is "Do not judge unless you are in a position to have your own credentials reviewed".

In fact, this type of argument is one MORE reason that Clinton should resign. As the chief of the branch that includes law enforcement and the military Clinton has lost his ability to judge and to effectively apply the laws that he swore to uphold. He cannot stand the test himself any longer.
