dj, worldwide cap utilization is at 70% or so and prices are STILL BELOW net cost. we still have nearly 50% output just by running fabs with no improvements. since it is reasonable to expect 1005 increases in potential output over the next year due to shrinks, etc, we will have the ability to maximize output in years time at 200% above current run rates.

and you say this is good? pc growth at 15% will soak up 200% bit growth? not by my third grade math it doesn't ;-)

you will learn and earn your "hard knocks" degree, though. but, it will be costly.
