Next time you try to figure out what a company is
doing, you might want to check the technical papers of
the company founders instead of calling IR.

I spent close to 3 hours trying to find any information on Clarity's technology. When their marketing guy returns my call I'll be sure to request a copy of the company's technical documents.

Incidentally, my "grade" to Peppe was given in good fun. She who writes the exam grades it. My rules.. :))

Clarity Wireless is in essence a smart antenna company which uses space-time digital signal processing to increase wireless link signal to noise ratio by using multipath signals.

In other words, they've built an antenna using a DSP chip that filters out noise through the use of several signals versus one line-of-sight?

From NN"s website:
newbridge.com

Indeed, even wireless cable operators with spectrum in the 2.5 GHz range-variously known as microwave or multichannel multipoint distribution service-are implementing two-way services pending FCC approval.

Does this mean 2.5 GhZ frequencies haven't been approved by the FCC?

More from NN"s site:

And the most recent, from MainStreet News:

These aren't technical documents, but it's a bit late to call Terry tonight and have a set sent out. Mind if I wait till morning? <g>

Later --

Pat

Bernard,

Thanks for the additional info on Claritry. It's amazing what a bunch of people on the NN thread can find out about a CSCO acquisition !!

Your digs towards Pat were not warrented, however. As Pat's post indicated, it was all in good fun. My bearish NN sentimments obviously affected my grades <vbg>.

If you do have access to some of Clarity's technical papers, pls share the location with the thread. Pat did an admirable job of finding info on this company, but their web-site came up short on technical details.

TIA,

Peppe
