Hi,
"A sulphur design capacity of 307 tonnes per day" tells me that Quirke creek can handle only a limited amount of sour gas, and the higher the sulphur content, the less it can handle.
What I mean by "if 7-25 is a winner" is: is the calculated recoverable reserve and allowable delivery rate sufficient to pay for the well and the cost of tying the well in by pipeline to a gas plant etc. in order to provide a satisfactory rate of return on capital and return of capital? For example, Hartel is shut in for good reason.
Regards,
teevee

Fans abandon UC bandwagon

Goin, Minter say don't be too hasty

Tuesday, September 15, 1998

BY TOM GROESCHEN
The Cincinnati Enquirer

A parched Cincinnati needs rain, but the only splashing sounds are from fair-weather UC football fans abandoning ship.

UC Athletic Director Bob Goin and coach Rick Minter are urging patience, with UC (0-2) having lost to Top-25 caliber teams in Tulane and Miami (Fla.). But it's the way UC has lost, by a combined 90-46, that has office comedians dusting off their old Bearcat football jokes.

"I'm not disenchanted or anything," Goin said Monday. "A game like Miami (38-12 loss Saturday) is a measuring stick for us. We need some more players. But we've got to wait for this season to play out, then I'll let you know where we are."

Next comes Army (0-1) in a Conference USA game at West Point, N.Y., this Saturday (noon). Army lost 14-13 last week to the Miami RedHawks, who had upset then-No. 12 North Carolina the week before. "It's not a time to panic, but we have a sense of urgency to win this game," Minter said.

Minter himself has plenty of rope, with three straight winning seasons and the four-year contract extension Goin gave him in June. He has talked often of a talent dropoff from 1997, but knows that explanation is wearing thin.

"We have much better personnel than the way we're playing," Minter said. "It's just been a matter of execution, more than anything." The Bearcats lost 10 starters from a year ago, including five NFL draftees. But still, more was expected after the Bearcats' first bowl season since 1950
