I did an extremely crude analysis of comparing open interest Oct puts to open interest Oct calls , YZN. came up with ratio of only 5:4, puts to calls. (used Interquote, my quote service)

Comments? Anyone know if I'm way off on the numbers? This should ameliorate the "witching effect" on the stock price (and thus puts), yes?

With only losses from operation, AMZN is unlikely to pay back its $530 million junk bonds. Yet those junk bonds have seniority over common equity - which puts the value of common at around zero...

Most likely outcome of AMZN in next few years: Reorganization and issuance of new common shares against those junk bond debts. Tough luck for current shareholders....
