Points taken. Though I confess I don't know what Canadians know about tawdry.

I still think it is unfair, and perhaps incorrect, to assume that he used his position to gain favor. Then anyone, be they single or married, that had position, would not be able to have a relationship without it being considered that the position was the reason for the relationship.

And, yes, Hilary has grounds for divorce. I think most states have no-fault divorce, however, which makes the question mute.

Tawdry? If I had a relationship with someone I would be insulted to have it considered tawdry due to particular circumstances that did not fit someone's standards.
