Steve - Re: "Now I'm really impressed.. what has you exposure been to Newtek?"

I used to read a lot about the Video Toaster.

Many years ago I read an article about an architect who was contracted to do a major LA project, even though he was an "independent" type of architect.

He got the job by designing a Video walk through of his concept using a Video Toaster and showing it ti his (then) prospective clients. This was way back in the late 80's - maybe very early '90s.

His concepts were illustrated in a trade magazine that featured AutoCAD (of which I was a heavy user) and the Video Toaster output put the AutoCAD rendered competition to shame.

Of course, AutoCAD has improved greatly, but the idea that this one guy could do all the design and 3-D walk throughs with a Video Toaster - 10 years ago - has stuck in my mind.
