NO my dear Colleen, just a simple Italian mashed potato recipe...
You take pre-boiled potatoes, place them in a mixing bowl.
In your case Colleen, you may use your hands. Mash them down, with your hands, please be careful not to go near your mouth. You may want to take your finger in and out of your mouth. (That's another recipe) After you have thoroughly mashed the potatoes, put a pinch of salt pepper (1/4 tea spoon) « cup of Romano cheese,
Two-table spoon of fresh parsley, 1 teaspoon of finely chopped FRESH garlic. 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Ok now Colleen mix it all together, be sure to get your hands underneath, lift and fold. Now here is the fun part.

In one bowl you have bread crumbs and in another bowl you have 4 eggs beaten.
Colleen take a couple to table spoons full of the potato, size is up to you. You may make them as long a or as short as your desire. You may want to use a ball park frank as a substitute for size comparison. The normal size is about 2 to 3 inches (I know I am leaving myself open for this one) Now Colleen with both hands roll the mixture with both your hands, just like a ball park frank, the plump ones. Come on Colleen help me out here, you have done this before. Dip the potato in the egg bowl and then in the breadcrumb bowl.

Now put a frying pan on the stove with about one-inch of oil. Let it get NICE N" HOT, gently and very carefully, put your potato in, until it becomes golden brown.
There you have it "Potato Croquet" melts in your mouth not in your hands.
