Henry, when you, I or any other individual posts messages on the internet we are committing some of our personal reputation. Right or wrong we said it and if others read our messages they can at least know something about the messenger. At age 52, a father, and a background as an Officer in the Military I place a great deal of importance on maintaining my personal integrity. My good name means a lot to me and I hope to my friends, neighbours and business associates. I admit to being wrong at times and mislead at other times but have the honour to stand up and put my real name on all messages. Your postings about the dishonourable activities of some posters attempting to either capitalize on your name & reputation or even to disparage your own honour are contemptible! You may not be able to stop this juvenile behavior but rest assured that you are not the only one angered by this activity. Men and women of good character simply do not do these type of things and hopefully those responsible will ultimately realize the damage this behavior can cause not just to the individual maligned but to the entire fabric of trust that is essential to an honest exchange of information and ideas.

Henry, In this instance, you have every reason to be pissed. I trust you have notified the Web Mistress and, hopefully, she will take care of the matter. FWIW, Jeff
