I checked the network connections while QuoteTracker was running and did not see any connections being made except to the quote source. Of course, anything can happen when files are updated. However, their reputation would be damaged (not to mention lawsuits) if they were collecting people's passwords.

I think it is a great tool and use it mainly for the graphs since the streamer realtime graphs have been removed.

As for the name/password stuff - what can I say
except I am willing to open my code to any
independent auditor to prove there is no hanky panky
going on? You can run a TCP/IP sniffer and see that
the program only connects to the web data sources
when it runs as well.
