bk has occurred. just not everywhere. bios are down 60% from late last year highs. that isn't a bk? lots of small caps are 50-70% smaller caps. these are bk numbers. i own a wide variety of small caps in the bio (3), tech (3), employment (1) area and i'm down 50% off my highs in 1997. oh, and i did some nice trading. genzl was $15 last eyar. it under $3 now. gztc is around $5 - down from nearly $15. lgnd is $7 down from nearly $20. cege is $3, down from double digits. this IS a bk. so what if the dow and the s&p have corrected if you don't own them.
