G'day, Osprey. We can expect a company update from Marum, probably later this week!

Marum is debt free -- adverse market conditions have certainly dictated a much more 'focused' exploration financing environment.
Re. the private permit holder in the just announced deal-- to my knowledge, this is a private syndicate that could be considered at "arm's length" to Marum, including long-time colleagues and associates. Marum is positioned well and has fared well in dealing with this area permit holder(s)-- other lands have been acquired before (see previous deals, eg. Oct.21/97, Nov.28/97 NR's at website). I'm pretty sure this includes or is the same private syndicate. Remember Marum has been in the area for over 4 yrs now. Their roots are in place, as is their superior knowledge of the region's geology.

IMhO, your speculation is correct, in that this last deal is to acquire land with overlapping prospective anomalies (extending onto the now acquired adjoining land), as identified by various methods.
