First place to the first mark, then the wind died on the second leg. When the wind dies, so do we, and we fell back to about 8th place. Then rounded the last mark and picked up, finishing around 4th. A sailboat race is never over till it's over. Last Saturday we got in a wind hole and fell back to last place, then the wind filled in and we caught up with a pack of eight boats. Through brilliant tactical moves (gg) we jibed above them around the weather mark, took their air, and blew past them and took 2nd in club, 3rd overall. Digitcom is kinda like a sailboat race. We've been in a wind hole, but when the wind picks up, look out!
