I received a brochure in the mail today from Telescan (developer of Prosearch) regarding new software/service they are offering for daytraders, CATS (Continuous Alerts Telescan Service), which apparently gives real-time intra-day stock screens based on various technical and non-technical indicators such s moving average breakouts, heavy volume, trading gaps, moving average and stochastic breakouts , and a lot more.

The stuff apparently is offered through September 30 to Telescan customers for $500 license fee plus $75 per month usage. I find Telescan seems to have an uncanny way of getting one to subscribe to things and incur high ongoing costs. This may be like that, too, but if it's good enough it may be worth something. Would love to get some opinions from others on this thread.

Did anyone else get this recently, think the service is of value, know anything more about it? Does anyone know of anything similar but even better, for daytrading?

Thanks,

Bill

Am I correct. CT does not trade NYSE, only SOES/otc

How does it compare to the Executioner. I am going with MBT, CT, or Executioner

Jonny,

I have often heard reference to M.B. Trading's "ARCA", which sounds similar to CyberTrader's "smart keys." Is this true? What is the difference, as far as you know or can find out, between the Smart Keys and their Arca Keys?

Thanks,

Bill

jonny

looks like cyberbroker is a great system. Was wondering if you could give me details on what technical indicators are available on the intraday charts. Also, I assume the indicators can be configured by the user for periods, correct me if I am wrong? And, what are the time increments which are available on the charts (i.e. 1,5,10,15,20.... minute charts)?

thanks
