People vote: 1.- with ballots 2.- with feet 3.- with money 4.- with bullets (eg. American Revolution) Unfortunately, dependency (on a tyrant or state) breeds stupidity. I agree that the media can brainwash people if exposed too long to the message. One thing that makes me somewhat pessimistic about future generations is education. Schools and colleges are supposed to teach one how to think critically and continue to learn. Unfortunately, today's Mike Jordans are the modern version of ancient Rome's gladiators: Circus for the public.
