According to the Chicago Tribune article, Savant Biotechnology changed its name to Children's Beverage Group in May, 1997. At that time, Jon Darmstadter was named President and CEO of TCBG. Darmstadter was cited as being the previous President of Water Pouch Systems, Inc., a company which was acquired by TCBG. On TCBG's Internet site, Darmstadter's past employer is listed as United Beverage of Ohio, but no mention of Water Pouch Systems. TCBG indicates it was formed in 1995. So...TCBG was around since 1995 but not a public company until it merged in some fashion w/ Savant in 1997. When Water Pouch Systems was acquired by TCBG is unknown to me...what they did is also unknown, but Darmstadter was President of it. If Darmstadter didn't come into power in TCBG until 1997, who was President of TCBG prior to that? Anyone have any information?

I guess when one asks a few questions...and there are no explainable answers, those who originally were talking so highly of TCBG go underground. Don't get me wrong...I am interested in TCBG's packaging concept. I would just like to feel comfortable w/ the historic information presented and news releases re: the company and its principals.
