Michael, for our economy, I think the Fed should tighten. And, IMO, I think AG thinks so too.

But for the rest of the world, and this is where I'm confused, everyone thinks the Fed should lower rates. I don't see how 1/4 point can help out the rest of the world, and I can't see how 1/2 point can help us!

I certainly see AG's dilemma. My only hope is that he doesn't let Mr. C (or Mr. S) push him. I hope he does nothing.
