Hi Rich, saw MOT's move last week - a little confusing to me

Looks like its using Microware's OS9000 as a dedicated chip browser on a PowerPC instead of Spyglass's which Phillips (INTC) is using .

See its confusing. My guess is its immaterial to AAPL whereas Spyglass could have been a problem to AAPL's coming "Sherlock".

My strategic gut leans to assessing it as a pre-emptive DOJ move to throw another log on MSFT's fire and in line with AAPL's recent cozzying up to LINUX .

IBM's coming 400mz PowerPC 740 (cacheless) could be in AAPL's sights .

Hey what's a (AIM) partnership for other then to gang up on the bullies.

When is Mon. Jobs speaking ?

Regards,
Jim
