ALTIF rtq

Bid x Ask is 30 x 550. Look at that. The price is still holding.
Hope not for long.

Perception of time....yes ENVY is ugly if you shorted low 20's. I have no doubt that it will fall back to those levels and lower. It will take time for the final word to get out on the book keeping problems. I will continue to hold my low 20's shorts and add more when it tops. Could be 36, but after Greenspan's talk today, I don't think it will make it.

This last surge up in the market has been due to his comments that were interpreted as a possibility of a rate cut. I think Wall Street saw it as an op to create demand for stocks that the big boys want to get rid of. I will not go long or cover anything at this point. You may have your margin sooner than you think.

I am looking at COST and Ballard as possible longs, but not until we see 7400 again.

PS ALTIF is going to zero, LHSG is going to drop big when it does....methinks the 40 mark will be passed like a skankey rotten skunk on the Wall Street Highway....

ENVY -

Lets see if they can keep up the short squeeze in the face of a bad market day. S&P futures down 24 as I type.

I'm still holding my ENVY short. I'm not very experienced yet at watching level II display, but to this L2 beginner, ENVY trading does not look "natural".
