"The one area that IBM is really a leader that the industry looks to them for setting standards and guidance is E-Commerce solutions and technologies (including the secured transaction solutions like SET). People clearly look to IBM for these "Business" level technologies and concepts." THIS is where the bone is buried! They have the customer base already in place to impose their solutions on the fastest growing industry in the world. They have the consulting and service revenue plan already working and I believe it will continue to be the fastest growing segment of the Company.
