Dave,

sorry I haven't responded previously. figured I would end up spending an hour two writing a long post. I'll try to keep it short.

The BSOD your seeing can be caused my many things. I get the same exception type on my BAD CPU. Dan says same for BAD memory. Only real suggestion at this time is to start removing components until it goes away. If you really think its SCSI related. Take the SCSI Card, the CD , and the scanner OUT all together and see if the problem perists. If it does, rip the winmodem, sound, ethernet until their is nothing left. You didn't loaded BM IDE drivers did you??? I also got the same BSOD from running Tyans NT BM Drivers.

good luck, I feel for you. I just finally got the machine I built in may to work properly and with both CPU's.

This is a HUGE disadvantage to building your own machines. Just think if you were a sysadmin and had to deal with this every time you bought hardware your business would not be productive. Thats were BIG OEM's who test compatibility of their systems extensively comes to be a significant advantage. good luck and keep us posted.
