WHILE EL NINO WINTER FLOWS ARE STABLE - VERY LITTLE BLOCKING - LA NINA WINTERS ARE MUCH MORE VARIABLE AND THE WINTER MEAN CONDITIONS CPC IS TRYING TO FORECAST MAY MASK THE FACT THAT PERIODS OF STRIKINGLY COLD WINTER WEATHER AND MUCH MILDER WEATHER MAY AVERAGE OUT CLOSE TO NORMAL ESPECIALLY IN THE NORTHERN HALF OF THE NATION." --this is an excerpt from the CPC website, new forecast out tommorrow afternoon. Anybody with a commodity account playing gas this winter? I suppose that global deflation puts energy stocks at risk as the emerging countries increase exports, but fsngx was the safest/best one I could come up with. I see we didn't get any help from Greenspan today, too bad. --MM

Mike: Already being up 9 % places you in the enviable position of playing with the houses money. Great call and great timing !! My only observation is that the 1 3 and 5 year returns are dismal, compared to the index in this nat gas fund; you might roll it over to an energy resource fund with a better comparative track record...gregor
